We are thrilled that everyone who listens to Survivors Traveling Lightly, knows they are listening to a unique, one-of-a-kind podcast worthy of one who is working to find their path from trauma to adventure.

 

Before I started my adventures and created Survivors Traveling Lightly, I had gone through a few years of trauma. I went through my recovery process. Life was getting better but it was ordinary and laid back.

Then one day adventure and excitement happened. After going through trauma in my life, I wondered whom I could help with the knowledge I gained and who would like to start new adventures with me.

 

I was concerned that my perspective and idea would already not help others find ways to move from their trauma to adventure.

 

But then the idea of the podcast would not go away. Others agreed that they would be interested in the podcast, the ideas I had to offer, and encouraged me to speak out.

 

I decided I set out to create the most authentic podcast for the most resilient women in the world.

 

It turns out, the road was more difficult than I imagined.

 

Learning how to do a podcast, edit a podcast, and get the message out for others to find was something I had to learn.

 

I found others who had done podcasts before to get help and advice. Then, I stepped out in faith to climb this mountain for all of us.

 

I feared no one would like the podcast and my listeners wouldn’t come.

 

Through it all, we released our first podcast, the response has been a true delight.
